Organisation: World Vision
Date: 7th January 2019 – 15th February 2019 1pm or 2:30pm – 5:30pm
Job description: World Vision is going to hold a new fund-raising activity – ‘Expedition 180′. The target of this activity will be the children and families in Southern Sudan who are affected by the conflict. Funds raised in this event will go to support World Vision’s integrated health and water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) projects in South Sudan. In order to assist children and families in need, World Vision needs your help to contact the donator and encourage them to join ‘Expedition 180′!

4th – Lion Walk (charity walk) Volunteer
Organisation: Leo Club of Kwun Tong Hong Kong

Job description: Lion Clubs International District 303 Hong Kong & Macao, China has organized the annual raising fund activities and the Leo Club will also assist in this activity. This activity includes charity walk and carnival and the theme ‘Walk Hand in Hand’. The aim of the activity is to raise the awareness of the Lion Club’s members and the public towards the disabled children in Hong Kong.
Job duty: Stationing in the checkpoint along the road, helping distribute souvenirs at the finishing line and assisting in the booth.
3rd – ‘Volunteering 2gether’ activity (「1+1=義」)

Job description: ‘Day Run Night Walk for the Green Earth’ held on 26 January (Saturday). No matter you are a fast or slow runner, we welcome you to take the challenge to run at the highest mountain in Hong Kong to enjoy the extraordinary view.
At the same time, there is night walk. Starting from dusk, you can walk slowly in the countryside. The funds raised will be used to support TGE’s campaigns and education programmes that promote ‘zero-waste’ culture in society. In order to hold the event smoothly, The Green Earth needs your help! We are now recruiting volunteers at the event which assist at various checkpoints, water station, recycling stations and starting and finishing point.
